SIRT Workshop

Course objective:

Minimal invasive oncology is on the rise due to a significant upswing of various techniques including radioembolisation (SIRT). Results of SIRT are particularly favourable in HCC, metastatic colorectal carcinoma, and hepatic metastatic breast cancer. SIRT is technically demanding for both the specialist nuclear medicine and the interventionalist – in addition, a cooperative team with hepatologists, oncologists and surgeons is desirable for the successful development of a SIRT program.
