Tumour conference simulation

Course objective:
The training course is designed to provide interventional radiologists with evidence of minimally invasive oncology and to train the interdisciplinary discussion in the MDT or tumour conferences. Balancing various treatment options for optimal individual patient outcomes between specialists from different fields is largely dependent on the ability to identify the appropriate clinical arguments. During the training course brief key notes on different tumour entities (hepatocellular cancer, colorectal cancer) open the field for interactive discussions of real cases in a moderated environment mimicking a tumour conference; participants of the training courses are encouraged to bring their own cases, training cases are provided in addition. The experts moderating the tumour conference simulation and giving the key note lectures are well recognized specialists from oncology, gastroenterology, surgery and radiology.
